👿Game Development Roadmap
Phase 1: Conceptualization and Design In this initial stage, "Dark Pepe Pope Game" was conceptualized as a unique browser game that combines elements of meme culture with classic gameplay. The game’s dark and humorous theme was defined, focusing on Dark Pepe Pope as the protagonist who must dodge sacred obstacles. The main objectives and motivation behind the development were also outlined, with a future integration with blockchain always in mind.
Phase 2: Prototype Development During this phase, a functional prototype of the game was developed, where players can guide Dark Pepe Pope through a world filled with obstacles. Jumping and collision mechanics were implemented, and a database was integrated to store scores. This phase also included the creation of a Telegram bot, which allows players to register and securely access the game through verification codes.
Phase 3: Gameplay Enhancement and Mobile Adaptation Once the basic prototype was operational, the focus shifted to optimizing gameplay and adapting the game for mobile devices. Although the game is primarily designed for PC, gradual improvements have been made to ensure a smoother and more accessible experience on mobile. This phase also includes the continuous enhancement of game mechanics and the interface, as well as the addition of new features to the Telegram bot.
Phase 4: Blockchain Integration and Airdrop Events
Currently, Dark Pepe Pope Game is already integrated with the blockchain, which has enabled the creation of a fully decentralized and transparent token economy. During this phase, we have implemented airdrop events to attract more players, giving away Dark Pepe Pope tokens, USDC prizes, and exclusive NFTs for the top three players. These events are crucial for building a solid base of active players and encouraging participation.
Additionally, we have integrated a Telegram bot that reads data directly from the blockchain in real time. This bot keeps the game’s rankings and statistics up to date, providing players with live information on their performance and leaderboard positions. This integration strengthens transparency and trust in the reward and scoring system.
Phase 5: NFT Events
The next phase, scheduled for October, will include the launch of a collection of 100 NFTs, which will grant players access to an exclusive in-game event. This event will last for three weeks and will repeat each month with a new thematic collection of 100 NFTs. To participate, players must hold both an NFT and a specified amount of Dark Pepe Pope tokens.
The proceeds generated from the sale of these NFTs will be allocated to:
Prize distribution among the top players.
Token buyback and burn to reduce the supply of Dark Pepe Pope, increasing its scarcity and market value.
Marketing, to attract more players and expand the community.
The exact percentages for prize distribution, buyback, burn, and marketing are yet to be determined, but this structure ensures that the events will be sustainable and beneficial for both the game’s economy and its community.
Phase 6: Arcade Competitions
In the arcade competition phase, players will be able to participate in "rooms" where they must wager a certain amount of Dark Pepe Pope tokens. Initially, these rooms will have an extended duration of several days and a fixed entry fee to ensure higher participation and prize profitability. All tokens wagered in each room will form the prize pool, and at the end of each room's time limit, the tokens will be automatically distributed among the top players using smart contracts that guarantee fair and automatic distribution.
The token distribution will be as follows:
A percentage of the Dark Pepe Pope tokens will be distributed among the top 10 players.
Another percentage will be burned to reduce supply and increase the token's value.
A smaller percentage will be allocated to the team.
In the future, rooms will have shorter durations of 6, 12, or 24 hours, and each room will have different entry fees, allowing players to wager more Dark Pepe Pope tokens if they are willing to take on greater risks for larger rewards.
Phase 7: Monetization and Advertising
Once we have a sufficient number of players online, we will open the possibility of monetization through in-game advertising. Projects on the Base network will be able to advertise in the various "rooms" of the game, generating revenue to support the sustainability of the project. Advertising prices will be based on the duration of the rooms: a 6-hour room will cost less compared to a 12-hour or 24-hour room, as the advertising will be displayed for a shorter period.
Additionally, we will offer customized advertising packages, allowing advertisers to choose the room and the length of time their ads will be displayed according to their needs.
Phase 8: Expansion and Community
In this phase, the goal is to expand the Dark Pepe Pope Game ecosystem by creating new games and optimizing existing ones to improve the user experience. Our vision is to become one of the most recognized projects on the Base network, offering not only quality entertainment but also innovation through the integration of blockchain with game mechanics.
A key part of this phase will be building a strong and engaged community, where players not only enjoy the games but also feel like active participants in the project's growth. Through marketing campaigns, events, and a focus on continuous user feedback, we aim to maintain a dynamic and expanding community.
Additionally, we will continue improving our interaction tools, such as the Telegram bot, to facilitate communication between players and the team, further strengthening the bonds within the community.
